Beset by scourging lashes from all angles the whips shall fall
Whimpering wreck, prostrate and take these blows
Smashed down and beaten, atonement in submission
Precise and merciless, flagellation scourge this soul
Desperate to vindicate, to redeem
Every strike leaves mounting scars and bloody gashes

Each slash hardens and callouses
Every stinging wound crusts like a shell
Bit by bit, flesh turns to iron
Rigid in a permanent state of dejection

Tormenting thoughts
Parasitically feed on remorse
Engorged on the flagellates crimson spilling's
Teeth bury deeper with each manic thrashing
"You are a worthless cretin, not a man but a beast"
Unable to break these cycles of guilt
The defeatist desperately cries
